As you know just having a web site up isn't enough to get visitors. Marketing it is essential. You can market your website with print material such as business cards, brochures and of course word of mouth.
Having you site listed through search engines can serve as a major source of visitors. However each page needs to be optimized so that search engines can correctly find the information on your pages. This is where Search Engine Optimization comes in. Your pages can be optimized so that specific search words which relate to your website will return your site as a result and significantly increasing your audience.
